Hello friends and neighbours!

Coming to you live from my couch! I’m currently watching Elf and eating Christmas cookies and I cannot wait for the holidays!

My night! The Santa Claus Parade, fireworks and Christmas cookies!

My night! The Santa Claus Parade, fireworks and Christmas cookies!

But, before that, we must finish some assignments and, more importantly, write our finals. I took a poll of my friends who are also students and asked them what music, if any, they listen to while studying. One of thirteen said she doesn’t listen to music at all, but all other twelve had suggestions, from which I made this playlist.

Explained below are some of the choices included on the playlist, and my reasons behind picking them.

Hozier – Take Me To Church

One of my favourite tunes, that has just been popping up on the radio now. Just listen to it and you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Shawn Mendes – Life of the Party

Good ol’ Torontonian boy with a great voice!

John Mayer – Slow Dancing in a Burning Room

John Mayer was recommended by more than one of my friends as their go-to when they’re studying, and this one is one of my favourites.

Mumford & Sons – Little Lion Man

This song too has been in my studying repertoire since high school and I don’t think it will go anywhere anytime soon.  A smooth tune with great lyrics!

If you’re not already following @LUexcellence, I highly suggest you start! Monday night they will be hosting a Late Night Against Procrastination!

I know this event is important because I started this blog on Thursday, and finished it tonight. Can you say procrastination?! If you’re a procrastinator check out their event! DO IT NOW!

Alright Voyageurs, lets finish the semester strong! My advice is to eat properly, get lots of sleep and take time to make a snowman. Good luck with all your exams!
